Payment failed or refused
Was your iDEAL payment failed?
Then first check whether the money has been debited or not. Is not this the case? Then you can immediately place an order again. Has the money been debited from your bank account, but have you not received an email confirmation after an hour? Then contact customer service and find your transaction number. This is always stated in the depreciation. Our customer service will help you further.
My credit card or PayPal payment is refused.
You have paid for your order with your credit card or PayPal and receive the message that the payment has been refused. Unfortunately, both PayPal and credit card payments are susceptible to fraudsters. Payments made through these payment methods are therefore objectively and automatically checked by the financial institution that makes our credit card and PayPal payments against a large number of criteria. A payment can be rejected if, for example, the CVC code or expiry date of the credit card has not been entered correctly, but also if the order and payment are made from an unsecured WiFi location where fraud has been detected more often.
My credit card or PayPal payment was wrongly refused.
Unfortunately, it is possible that we incorrectly refuse your payment. That's annoying, apologies for this! Sportimex has no insight into the reasons why your specific payment has been rejected. We can also not reverse a declined payment, we do not withdraw the reserved amount and the order is cancelled. Sportimex does not use 'blacklists' from other companies and in turn will never share this rejected payment with other companies.
The good news is that with these checks we detect an enormous amount of fraudsters and can therefore protect both Sportimex and our customers against improper payments.
What should I do now?
We want just as much as you do that you can receive your package as soon as possible. You can simply place your order again. We do ask you to pay via iDEAL or advance payment, for example.
